I work with children, young adults, and adults in addition to families and couples. I strive to create a safe and judgement free environment that allows for individuals to grow into the best versions of themselves. I have experience working with individuals struggling with substance use, adjustment disorders, self-esteem, anger, anxiety, mood disorders, and depression. I feel passionately  that individuals and their experiences are unique to them, and all require a special approach.

Specializations:

Anxiety: I work with clients to develop coping strategies and techniques to manage anxiety symptoms, such as deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
 

Substance Use: I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals struggling with substance use disorders to explore the underlying issues driving their behavior and develop a personalized recovery plan.
 

ADHD: I help clients with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) develop strategies to manage symptoms, improve focus, and enhance overall well-being.
 

Depression: I work with clients to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop coping skills, and improve mood regulation.
 

Low Self-Esteem: I help clients build confidence and self-worth by reframing negative self-talk, practicing self-compassion, and developing a growth mindset.
 

Life Transitions: I support clients as they navigate significant life changes, such as career shifts, relationship changes, or major life events, by exploring their values, goals, and coping strategies.
 

Grief: I provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to process their emotions and work through the grieving process.
 

Trauma: I use trauma-informed care and evidence-based modalities, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences.
 

Mood Disorders: I work with clients to develop coping strategies and techniques to manage symptoms of mood disorders, such as bipolar disorder or seasonal affective disorder.
 

Couples: I provide couples therapy to help partners improve communication, conflict resolution, and intimacy, and to address issues such as infidelity, trust, and relationship dissatisfaction.

Modalities:

Mindfulness: I incorporate mindfulness techniques, such as meditation and deep breathing, into our sessions to help clients increase self-awareness, reduce stress, and improve emotional regulation.
 

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop coping skills, and improve mood regulation.
 

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): I incorporate DBT skills, such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation, to help clients manage emotions, reduce self-destructive behaviors, and improve relationships.
