Lilly Kritsch, MA
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
I work with young adults and adults. I strongly believe that individuals have the power to overcome and change the challenges in their lives. During therapy I provide empathy while also teaching accountability and creating goals to overcome these challenges. I have experience working with individuals that struggle with substance use, eating disorders, anxiety and depression. I realize that each patient is unique and the approach I take will work to meet those needs.

Specializations:

I use evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions, to help clients manage their anxiety and develop coping skills.
Depression: I have worked with numerous clients who have experienced depression, including major depressive disorder and dysthymia. My approach combines CBT, mindfulness, and acceptance-based therapies to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop a more positive self-image, and improve their overall mental health.

My approach is centered on developing a strong therapeutic relationship, identifying triggers and coping mechanisms, and teaching clients skills to manage cravings and maintain sobriety.
Eating Disorders: I have worked with clients struggling with eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder. My approach is tailored to each client's unique needs, incorporating CBT, mindfulness, and family-based therapies to promote healthy eating habits, body image acceptance, and overall well-being.
Modalities:
Mindfulness: I incorporate mindfulness-based interventions into my therapy sessions, teaching clients techniques to increase self-awareness, reduce stress, and improve emotional regulation.
