Meredith Mechanik, MSW
Registered Clinical Social Work Intern
As a therapist and native Floridian, I am passionate about support and advocacy for individuals in our community. My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and compassionate; I trust my clients as the experts on their own lives, and I strive to support their growth by building on their strengths.
I enjoy working with young adults, mothers, and couples. Additionally, as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I recognize the importance of mental health support in identity exploration.
Since our mental health is influenced by our identities and lived experiences, I situate therapeutic work within that broader social justice context. It's hard to be a human in the world! I work alongside my clients to explore tools and strategies that make coping a little easier.
