Guided imagery is a tool that allows us to become in tune with our bodies and find inner peace in a world we create. Being able to relax our bodies has numerous benefits for our overall health, and can allow us a break from overwhelming thoughts and day-to-day tasks. The below example of a guided imagery practice invites you to create a safe space. This space can be one that you return to – and is a space that you, and you alone, have access to.
This meditation is an invitation – a guide that allows you to create this space to suit your needs. If you find yourself getting distracted or feel your mind wandering – that is okay. Try and bring your focus back to the sound of the audio guiding, or back to the sensations of your own breath. Meditation is a practice.
