As a registered mental health counseling intern, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals of all ages. I work with children ages two and up and believe that early intervention and prevention are key to promoting healthy development and reducing the risk of mental health concerns. I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for children, teenagers, and adults. With a unique blend of clinical and spiritual training, I am well-equipped to address a range of mental health concerns, including religious counseling, religious trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, and life changes and challenges.

  • Religious Counseling: As a holder of a Master of Divinity degree, I am uniquely qualified to provide spiritual guidance and support to individuals navigating religious beliefs, practices, and experiences. I understand the complex interplay between faith and mental health and am committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their spiritual concerns.
     

  • Religious Trauma: I am passionate about helping individuals who have experienced religious trauma, including spiritual abuse, cult involvement, or other forms of spiritual harm. My training and experience enable me to provide a trauma-informed approach, empowering clients to heal and find closure.
     

  • Anxiety, Stress, and Depression: I utilize evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Interventions, to help clients manage symptoms of anxiety, stress, and depression. My goal is to empower individuals to develop coping strategies, build resilience, and improve overall mental well-being.
     

  • Life Changes and Challenges: I understand that life is full of transitions and challenges. Whether clients are facing a major life change, such as a move, job change, or relationship transition, or struggling with everyday stressors, I am committed to providing support and guidance to help them navigate these challenges.

  • Person-Centered Therapy: I believe in the importance of empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard in the therapeutic relationship. My person-centered approach fosters a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
     

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): I utilize CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop coping skills, and improve problem-solving abilities.
     

  • Mindfulness-Based Interventions: I incorporate mindfulness techniques, such as meditation and deep breathing, to help clients cultivate self-awareness, reduce stress, and increase emotional regulation.
