Wendy White
Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student Intern
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” - Howard Thurman
Welcome. I’m here to support you on your journey to discovering a life that feels more aligned with your authentic self. In a world that often demands so much, it can be challenging to find balance, meaning, and space to prioritize our mental health. My approach offers a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore, heal, and grow.
As a mental health counseling intern, I believe everyone has the innate capacity for meaningful change. Sometimes, we just need support to tap into our inner wisdom and take the first steps toward transformation. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, and body sensations, using a person-centered, trauma-sensitive approach. By integrating CBT, somatic interventions, and mindfulness practices, we’ll work to shift unhelpful patterns, process past experiences, and move you closer to your goals, cultivating a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
With a decade of experience in the corporate world and another as a small business owner in the health and fitness space, I understand the complexities of balancing work, life, and self-care. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, healing from trauma, exploring alcohol use, or struggling with anxiety, depression, or perfectionism, I’m here to guide you toward creating a life that reflects your values and aspirations.
